With the Pinewood activities this weekend, we will not have a Den meeting on Monday(2/4.)
I will also cancel the following Monday(2/11) meeting (with the expectation that the scouts are finishing up their required badges at home, specifically the "Fitness" badge. Again, this is REQUIRED for the Webelos badge.
If your son does not complete the needed requirements for Webelos as spelled out in the webelos book, it's not a major problem, they have until May until this Webelos years is officially over. It is just nice to advance at the Blue and Gold.
Actually our next big event is 2/23, the Blue and Gold. We are responsible for decorations and set up.
When we meet on 2/18, we will finalize our plans for the Blue and Gold. I would like to hear the boys plans for how they will complete their Webelos badge this year, so have them bring their books.
I am working Sat 2/23 until about 5pm, so I will need volunteers to make sure the Blue and Gold gets set up. I'll send this request in a separate post as a reminder.
